Thousands of Filipino gamers will converge again at the World Trade Center for the biggest online gaming event in the Philippines. And of course the Multimedia team and I will be there to once more to live blog and live-stream the event.
Not only, but we’re also going to providing social media coverage of LU! Live 2009 — and you can be part of it!
If you’re on Twitter, please place the hashtag #live2009 on all your LU! Live 2009-related tweets. For instance, maybe you want to plug your guild’s booth at LU! City.
You may also add the tag LIVE2009 on your blog posts, photos (for instance, if you’re uploading LU! Live 2009-related pictures to your Flickr accounts), and videos to share your Level Up! Live 2009-related content and make it easier for other Internet users to find them. We’ll also be able to send more people to your site because we’ll be showcasing posts with the LIVE2009 tag during the LU! Live 2009 live blog and on the Level Up! Portal after the event.
For Filipino online gamers, all roads lead to the World Trade Center in Roxas Boulevard, Pasay City every year. This is the venue of the biggest online gaming event in the Philippines, Level Up! LIVE, which this year will be held from Nov. 7-8.
As I blogged last year, LU! LIVE is the country’s premiere online gaming event, offline and online. I’m not just saying that because I joined Level Up! last year as their multimedia head–people in the Philippines have known this for years, and the numbers speak for themselves. Last year, LU! LIVE had over 20,000 attendees at the actual event, while online we had over 12,000 unique readers following the action via the live blog, and 55,000 viewers from 27 countries watching the live video stream.
The Level Up! LIVE 2009 teaser site is online, and it’s time again to show people what a world-class Philippine online gaming event is really like. Mark it on your calendar: Nov. 7-8, World Trade Center, Roxas Boulevard, Pasay City.
