RIP Steve Jobs

Oct 06 2011 Published by Joey Alarilla under Tech

Today is indeed a sad day, as we bid goodbye to a true genius and visionary in Steve Jobs.

Here’s an excerpt from my blog post for Yahoo! Philippines.

The phrase “end of an era” is often overused, but today, it perfectly captures the shock and sadness of learning that an icon and genius has passed away at age 56.

Steve Jobs is dead.

It’s still hard to believe.

Check out the story, which incorporates comments from the Yahoo! Philippines community. And do visit our Steve Jobs tribute wall.

You may tweet your message to @YahooPH if you would like your comment to appear there.

Let’s take to heart what Steve Jobs said: “Your time is limited, so don’t waste it living someone else’s life.”

Thank you, Steve.

Sam’s new toy

Mar 29 2011 Published by Joey Alarilla under Parenting, Tech

My daughter Sam sure loves her new netbook, an Acer Aspire One AO522-C58kk whom we’ve dubbed “Asha.”

Here’s a photo of Sam and Asha. Looks like she also wants to be a writer heh she’s already written a lot of stuff.

Blogged this by the way on my iPhone while waiting for Sam’s piano class to start :)
