A life worth living and measuring

You can plan the perfect life, but nothing will happen until you take the steps to live the life you want.

I love how Clayton Christensen’sHow Will You Measure Your Life” makes us reexamine our purpose in life and the metrics we should use for success.

It’s a lesson that applies to both individuals and companies. As Christensen stressed:

“You can talk all you want about having a clear purpose and strategy for your life, but ultimately this means nothing if you are not investing the resources you have in a way that is consistent with your strategy. In the end, a strategy is nothing but good intentions unless it’s effectively implemented.”

How about you? How are you measuring your life?
